POLICE and paramedics were called to a road traffic accident involving a car and cyclist in Carisbrooke.
The incident, at the top of Cedars Hill, happened at around 7.30pm this evening (Saturday).
It is understood a man on a bicycle was injured in a collision with a car and he was taken by ambulance to St mary's Hospital, Newport.
Police have closed the road.
