DAILY data from Public Health England has shown a further large rise in the Isle of Wight's confirmed Covid cases.
Today's update shows another 82 cases.
It takes the total cases on the Island since the pandemic began to 10,695.
The Island's rolling rate has crept up slightly, from 330.3 yesterday, to 333.8 today — although the rolling rate is always five days behind so doesn't reflect today's cases.
The national rolling rate is still rising and is currently at 392.1.
The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has expressed concerns over the impact of the forthcoming Isle of Wight Festival on Covid rates, following rises after other festivals in the UK. Advice about how to keep safe has been issued.
The hospital currently has high numbers of Covid patients on the wards, with nine on ventilator beds on Tuesday, and 34 Covid patients in total (as of Tuesday).
