The NHS has confirmed a new coronavirus-linked death at St Mary's Hospital in Newport.
A person died on August 27.
It means 160 people with Covid-19 have now died in hospital since March 2020.
A further 137 people have died in the community (including in care homes and at home).
Meanwhile, the number of cases on the Isle of Wight appears to be falling.
The average rolling rate per 100,000 people has declined in the last few days and an update is expected at 4pm today (Wednesday).
The latest hospital figures, showed 17 people with Covid-19 were in hospital on the Isle of Wight, with three people on ventilation.
New data is published tomorrow (Thursday).
