HALFORDS in Newport has been forced to close following a positive case of Covid-19.
The St James' Street store has been closed until further notice.
A spokesperson for the retailer of car parts, tools and equipment said a deep clean is now required.
They said the store could open again as early as tomorrow, but not before 1pm.
The closure comes as more than 100 new positive cases were confirmed on the Isle of Wight yesterday (Wednesday).
Meanwhile, today is the final day for the Riverside Vaccination Centre — for now.
The centre is closing after a successful programme that saw the centre and Island GPs give more than 200,000 Covid vaccines.
