A TRIAL date has been set for an Isle of Wight man charged with obstructing and assaulting a police officer, and a string of other offences.
Levi Randall, of no fixed address, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Monday (August 16).
The 25-year-old is charged with three counts of assault by beating — one against a police officer.
He is alleged to have punched and kicked the officer, and pushed his fingers into his eyes.
Mr Randall is also charged with criminal damage, obstructing a police officer and possession of cannabis.
His case was adjourned to October 7 at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court.
He was granted conditional bail.
