Dash and Splash returned to Sandown Bay this morning (August 14).

Raising funds for Aspire Ryde, it saw around 200 people take on a 5-kilometre dash, between Shanklin Rowing Club and Yaverland.
From children right through to people aged in their seventies, competitors were challenged to negotiate 43 groynes, including 14 to be splashed around (in ankle-deep water at low tide).
At two, the water came up their waists.
Organiser Karen Eeles said 2021's event was the "probably the best ever".
It has been going since 2015 and this year was in aid of Aspire Ryde.
The Ryde Lions were on hand as safety marshals and Shanklin Rotary and Shanklin Rowing Club also helped out, the former sponsoring the medals.
There was water and bananas for those taking part, from Regent Street Coop in Shanklin and Morrisons in Lake.
