The 6.15pm Red Jet 6 sailing has been forced to turn back to Southampton after breaking down.
THE 615pm Red Jet service from Southampton to Cowes has broken down this evening (Friday).
The vessel slowly returned to its base at Southampton, with passengers transferred onto a 6.55pm sailing.
The Isle of Wight bound Red Jet 6 left Southampton on time but soon turned around and headed back to base.
A similar incident occurred last Friday (July 29) when the same vessel suffered a technical issue.
