After a year out due to Covid, the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Cowes Week lunch made a triumphant return to the scene today (Wednesday).

Around 150 guests (a sell out) attended the barbecue and drinks event at the Island Sailing Club.

This year's party was sponsored by Red Squirrel Property Shop and managing director Charlie Panayi welcomed guests.

A Mermaid Gin bar was open throughout the event.

He said "It is just great to see everybody out enjoying themselves and we are delighted to sponsor it."

Among the visitors were Newsquest Hampshire and Dorset managing director Vincent Boni, County Press editor, Alan Marriott, and Newsquest Hampshire sales manager Jason Tuck.
