An Isle of Wight Councillor is set to swap his seat at County Hall for a spot in a DJ booth, in the woods.
Ian Dore, who represents Binstead and Fishbourne, is playing the Woodland Sessions at Robin Hill on Saturday, July 17.
He has formerly curated 90s club nights and played for Bestival-goers.
Ian said: "Bestival boss Rob Da Bank generously let me spin the wheels of steel on Main Stage, in the Big Top, at the Hidden Disco, Bollywood, the Comedy Tent and on the The Sugar Skulls Stage.
"To step, once again, into the deep dark woods at Robin Hill is something I’m really looking forward to.”
"My strap-line for the Isle of Wight Council campaign was ‘Who Dores Wins’ and now we’ve gone back to ‘Who Dores Spins!’
"It’s going to be a blast."
He's promising '90s bangers', with a warm up of funky sun-soaked slammers.
Three days of events are planned at Robin Hill, this week.
On Thursday, comedians Tom Allen and Rich Hall will be bringing the laughs.
On Friday, "The Closest Thing To Crazy" singer Katie Melua will entertain and on Saturday, Ian Dore and DJ Omar host a 90s party night.
The Woodland Sessions are described as a brand new series of 'unique, intimate outdoor concerts.'
