UKTV show The Cockfields is once again filming on the Isle of Wight.
The second series is currently being filmed in locations including Appley, Ventnor, and Sandown.
Some Island car parks have had parking suspended to aid the film crew — including St John's in Sandown and Ventnor Central.
As previously reported by the County Press, the second series was commissioned by Gold last summer. Filming was scheduled for August but delayed due to the Covid pandemic.
The first series featured a stellar cast including comedian Joe Wilkinson, Diane Morgan, Sue Johnston, the late Bobby Ball and Nigel Havers.
The County Press also made a couple of appearances, with the rolled-up paper being used to chase a bird, and Bobby Ball's character enjoying a read of a copy.
In an exclusive interview with the County Press in 2019, Joe Wilkinson revealed he had cheekily named the main character, Simon Cockfield, after his best friend growing up.
He said: "I might have made his name famous and I think he will kill me."
The cast and crew have connections with the Island, so chose to set it here.
