NO NEW cases of Covid-19 have been recorded on the Isle of Wight, according to the latest data.
Public Health England figures released today (Sunday) show no new cases since yesterday, when four Covid cases were recorded.
On Friday, three cases were added to the Isle of Wight total, which stands at 6,882.
The rate per 100,000 population, in the seven days to June 8, is 5.6.
Yesterday, it was 7.1.
Meanwhile, fewer than five confirmed cases of the Delta variant of coronavirus have been recorded on the Isle of Wight to date, new figures reveal.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the Covid-19 mutation that originated in India now makes up 91 per cent of new cases in the UK.
Over-25s on the Island are now being called forward to get their Covid-19 vaccination, Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced earlier this week.
