AN ISLE of Wight journalist who suffers with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy will be hosting a series of live shows alongside a glittering array of well known celebrities later this year.
Josh Barry, whose condition results in unwanted movement and difficulties in his speech, is the creator of the entertainment podcast Beyond The Title.
The show sees him interview significant figures from the world of entertainment and is available on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube and at www.beyondthetitle.co.uk.
To combat his condition, Josh writes with his nose on an iPad to shape and compose each interview, thereafter relying on personal assistants to deliver the podcast under his supervision.
Beyond The Title has now been running for five years, with guests including Jimmy Tarbuck, Dame Esther Rantzen and Barry Cryer, Jeremy Kyle and Sir Ian Botham.
Josh said: "I hope to expand the Beyond The Title brand and take it on the road in a series of conversational shows throughout the country beginning with Arthur Smith at the Museum of Comedy in London on the afternoon October 2.
"Two weeks later, the tour will visit the Island, with Gurnard Pines the venue for a special evening with ventriloquist and Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Steve Hewlett."
The show will take place on Saturday October 16, with tickets on sale now via the Eventbrite website.
