PROBLEMS with a prow cable has led to the suspension of the floating bridge again.
The troublesome Cowes to East Cowes crossing has been beset with problems and this is the latest.
A replacement service has been launched for floating bridge foot passengers, following the issue with a prow cable.
An Isle of Wight Council spokesperson said: "The temporary service will continue until repairs can be carried out tomorrow (Monday, May 17). We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Problems with the vessel's prows have previously been blamed for its withdrawal from service.
The new bridge has racked up a significant period of absence since it was introduced.
