Isle of Wight firefighters are tackling a major blaze at Sandown's Ocean Hotel.
Sandown High Street is closed and Hampshire Constabulary is urging people to stay away from the scene.

A number of fire engines are on the scene and flames can be seen coming from the hotel's windows and through the roof, in what appears to be a major blaze.

Police said: "We are currently assisting the fire service at a fire at a hotel in High Street, Sandown.
"A number of roads are closed near the hotel and we are asking some people to evacuate the area.
"Please, if you do not need to be in the area, stay away."

The property was sold last month (April), according to the joint liquidators of the Carlauren Group.
The Ocean Hotel and Kings House Bar were due to be developed over two phases in 2019, by the Carlauren Group, but have instead lain empty.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue has confirmed it is on the scene.
