A CAR ended up on its side and a driver sustained an injury following a single-vehicle road traffic accident near Gatcombe this afternoon (Wednesday).
The accident occurred on Whitcombe Road at around 2pm, with tailbacks evident until 3.15pm when the vehicle was recovered by Stag Lane Motors.
An eye-witness confirmed police attended the scene.
Southern Vectis diverted its Route 6 service as a result of the accident, with buses not able to serve stops between Drill Hall Road and Highwood Lane.
