As work continues at Appley, to repair a sewer that caused a large sinkhole, utility firm Southern Water has agreed a package of support for businesses affected by the work.
A complex repair is underway - which sees a huge pipe running from Appley Beach to Ryde Canoe Lake.

The sinkhole opened up in January - close to Ryde Inshore Rescue, Appley Beach cafe and Appley car park.
Initially, the hole was cordoned off and since then a huge engineering project has seen the installation of a pipe, to redirect the flow of the sewer, to allow for major repairs to be carried out.
In its latest statement. Southern Water said: "We are very sorry to both these business owners for the disruption caused by our crucial work to repair the burst main in Appley.
"In recognition of the immediate impact of our works we have already agreed an initial support package.
"We are also in continued discussions with them to understand and assess the ongoing impact of the works so we can provide appropriate and timely support where required.
"We are working to be away from the area as quickly as possible."
There are fears the engineering teams will be on site over what promises to be a busy summer for UK tourism, if the roadmap out of Covid-19 lockdown goes to plan.
