Sarah Millican has released a message for Islanders on Facebook - as she plans two shows at Shanklin Theatre.

The comedian's about to hit the road with her Bobby Dazzler tour.

Yesterday (Monday) she announced tour dates including two shows for the Isle of Wight, on July 24.

Sarah Millican said: "If you want to have something to write in your diary, or put on your calendar and look forward to, then treat yourself!

"I will see you on the road.

"I'm very excited!"

Sarah wrote on her Facebook page: "Hello lovely people of Lincolnshire and the Isles of both Man and Wight.

"I am very much looking forward to coming to see you all on my next tour, Bobby Dazzler.

"If you’re the sort of person who wants to wait ’til this is all over before buying a ticket, that’s totally fine. If, however, you’re like me and like to have something to look forward to, get yourself a ticket.

"I want to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable coming along to shows. I can’t wait to see you all again soon."
