The hotly anticipated announcement of singer Lewis Capaldi at the Isle of Wight Festival didn't materialise on today's line-up reveal for 2021, but his fans need not worry.
They may have to wait another year, but the singer has announced on Twitter that he is set to play at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2022.
He even revealed the date — Friday, June 17 — something that hasn't yet been officially revealed.
He said it was with an "extremely heavy heart" that he had made the difficult decision to reschedule this year's shows and put his effort into creating new music. He said he would be "back in 2022" and listed all the shows and festivals he was signed up for. First on the list is the Isle of Wight Festival.
This year's Isle of Wight Festival line up was revealed this morning, featuring headliners Liam Gallagher, Snow Patrol, David Guetta and Duran Duran.
