Emergency crews have been spotted in parts of the Isle of Wight tonight (Sunday).
A search appeared to be underway in the Sandown Bay area earlier, involving the crew of Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat, which was called out at around 8:30pm.
A helicopter was also spotted in the area.
Activity now appears to have moved further south - towards Ventnor.
The WightSAR team was called out, at around 8:30pm, to search for a missing person.
Coastguard Rescue Teams have also been involved in tonight's search.
Sandown and Shanklin Lifeboat has been off the coast between Ventnor and St Lawrence, before returning to its base at around 10:15pm.

A missing person has now been found, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency told the County Press.
