BEMBRIDGE and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams were called to Sandown after a woman got into difficulty along the seafront today (Monday).
The teams were tasked alongside the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service at around noon to a distressed woman, who was reported to have got into trouble in the water.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: "Our teams provided care before the casualty was taken into the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service."
The woman is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
