ANOTHER person has died in hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 on the Isle of Wight, according to data published today (Thursday).
The latest information shows the latest death occurred February 8.
In all, 132 people have now died at St Mary's Hospital since the pandemic started, after testing positive for Covid-19, or where it was mentioned on their death certificate.
A tenth care home death for the past week was added to the overall tally on Tuesday, dating to the week ending January 22.
The Isle of Wight continues to record new cases, including 36 yesterday (Wednesday). New data will be published at 4pm.
The Island's rolling average rate of cases per 100,000 has now fallen below the national average and, at 4pm yesterday, for the week to February 4, stood at 123.4.
