The Isle of Wight has seen a rise in coronavirus cases — with 39 positive tests recorded today.
It is the highest daily total confirmed during February so far, with previous days recording 9 (Feb 1), 28 (Feb 2), 20 (Feb 3) and 26 (Feb 4).
It hasn't been so high since Saturday, January 30, which also had 39 cases recorded.
It takes the county's total cases to 6,340 since the pandemic began.
The rolling data of cases per 100,000 of population is five days behind, but currently at 207.4 for the Isle of Wight. This is below the UK rate, currently at 240.2.
Three more Covid deaths were announced today, at St Mary's Hospital.
There have also been a high number of care home deaths — with 30 recorded on the Island between January 1 and January 22.
