Residents have told the County Press of their anger and anxiety over an anti-Covid vaccination letter, posted through Isle of Wight front doors.
It publicises websites and videos which make claims against the jabs and it encourages people to think before getting their Covid-19 vaccine.
The letter has been condemned as 'rubbish' in a number of social media posts today (Thursday).
One reader told the County Press: "This flyer was put through my door yesterday.
"I live on an over 55s retirement complex where most of the residents are over 70 and, thankfully, have already received their jabs.
"However, in a time of fear and anxiety, especially amongst the elderly, I feel that this anti-vax "propaganda" is the very last thing we need - especially when it lands on our doormats!"
The Director of Public Health, Simon Bryant, is expected to issue a statement.
