A Covid-19 vaccination site is due to open shortly - at Newport's Riverside Centre.
However a date is yet to be finalised by the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England.
It is understood it will open in early February.
When it opens it will join a network of Isle of Wight vaccination centres and the St Mary's Hospital hub.
Earlier this month there were calls for volunteers to help staff the new vaccine site at the Riverside Centre.
Meanwhile, the CCG says different centres have different policies when it comes to handing out cards to people who have been vaccinated.
There has been concern on social media after it emerged that some Islanders had been handed cards to say they had been given their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while others had not.
The CCG says those who did not get a card the first time round will get a card when they have received their second dose.
