Two more Isle of Wight couples found love really does conquer all when they negotiated their way around the Covid restrictions to get married last year.
Both couples had to change their plans considerably at the last moment.

Rebecca and Clive Salmon, from Ryde, were due to get married on May 23, but had to postpone their original ceremony due to the first lockdown.
They rescheduled their wedding and were married at Ryde Castle on October 17. They were also fortunate to be able to have the reception at Ryde Castle.
Rebecca said: "Reducing the guest list from 60 people to 30 people, then to 15 people in a short space of time was hard! Table planning is not fun at any time and doing that multiple times was very stressful!"
The pair, who love Marvel and gaming, had an unusual wedding proposal. Rebecca explained: "It was my 22nd birthday, I had just got up and was sat in my front room in my pyjamas eating ice cream for breakfast!
"Clive asked me if I want my birthday present as he had been hyping it up for weeks! I obviously jumped at the chance! He told me to close my eyes — I was expecting an Xbox game or a pop figure, I opened my eyes and he was on one knee with a beautiful ring in a box. I proceeded to cry like a baby and say yes!"

She said the highlights of their wedding were probably high-fiving after their vows and having the people they love around them.
Rebecca concluded: "We would like to thank Kay and the team at Ryde Castle for hosting our day and being so supportive throughout the whole process, Duncan from DK Photography for capturing our day beautifully, Finishing Touches for making our venue look amazing! My aunt Jenny for making our awesome wedding cake and bringing it all the way from London to the Island and our families for being so supportive and helpful though the whole process."

Meanwhile, Sarah and Marcus Baker, who are also from Ryde, were married at the IW Register Office on August 29, and had a meal at the nearby Beefeater afterwards.
Sarah said: "We didn’t know we were getting married until five weeks beforehand, because of the pandemic, and we had to cut our guests to just two witnesses — and we couldn’t have our children inside."
She particularly wanted to thank her father-in-law for looking after the children during the ceremony and doing the photography.

Sarah and Marcus were planning to have a honeymoon at Butlins, but this has now been rescheduled and will hopefully be at the right time for their first anniversary instead.
They are also hoping to have a celebrant service for all their friends and family when the time is right.
