A QUAD bike has been donated to Ryde Beach Lifeguards by a local businessman.
Sean Thrippleton, of A1 Garage Doors, gave the quad bike to enhance the ability of the lifeguards to patrol the beach.
Steve Jones, of Steve Jones Painting and Decorating, donated £150 for fuel.
Matt Clark, of Clark’s Machinery Services, gave a free service and new gel battery along with new air filter and anti-puncture gel in the tyres.
Kieran Brady, of BBS Isle of Wight, donated the rescue signs.
Receiving the donation was Todd Miller, Ryde Beach Lifeguards manager, and Tim Griffin, RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) UK IW branch chair.
