Another person has died in hospital on the Isle of Wight, after testing positive for Covid-19.

Registered today by NHS England, the latest figures show a person died in St Mary's Hospital on November 19.

It takes the total number of hospital deaths to 47.

In total on the Island, 96 people have died from a Covid-related condition, with 45 in care homes, 3 at home and 1 in the hospice.

This is the fourth recorded death at St Mary's hospital in November where a patient tested positive for Covid-19.

Three people died in October and there was one death in September.
