THE Isle of Wight has seen another increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases today (Tuesday), according to the latest figures released by Public Health England.
A further six cases take the cumulative total to 934 since the start of the pandemic.
There were 178 cases in October and 278 have so far been reported in November.
These are all cases of people registered on the Isle of Wight.
University students not currently on the Island, but still registered to an Island address may affect the total number of cases, but officials have said it may only be a small number, and cannot give a figure.
To date there have been 46 Covid-19 patient deaths at St Mary's Hospital, 45 in care homes, three in the community and one in a hospice.
In the UK, a further 11,299 new cases have been recorded - the lowest daily figure since September 29.
It brings the total number of cases to 1,538,794.
