- At around 3.30 this afternoon, Sky News reported a suspected hijacking of the Liberian registered tanker Nave Andromeda off the south of the Isle of Wight.
- A restriction zone of five nautical miles in now in place around the vessel.
- Hampshire Police and HM Coastguard are responding.
