An interactive map, based on scientific reviews, is revealing which parts of the the Isle of Wight (and the world) could be lost to sea level rises caused by climate change.
Its creators say it should be used as a 'screening tool' and warn the information isn't perfect - but they say it will help identify places that may require 'deeper investigation of risk.'
The maps do not include the risk from extreme flood events - like storms and floods - and doe not take erosion, or drought into consideration.
They do allow you to see what would happen to low lying land until 2100, and to change between different predications and worst case scenarios.
On the Isle of Wight, Sandown, St Helen's Bembridge and Yarmouth would be among the areas worst affected.
See the map for yourself HERE and HERE.
The map also shows a significant affect on Portsmouth and Southampton, by 2050 and beyond.
