A ROAD in Shalfleet has been closed this morning (Thursday) after a water main under the road burst.

Island Roads has closed Station Road in Shalfleet for a distance of 83 metres to allow Southern Water to carry out repairs.

Diversions have been placed down Ningwood Hill, Yarmouth Road, Bouldnor Road, Thorley Road, Thorley Street, North View and Wellow Road.
