Members of West Wight Men In Sheds have been helping to keep local communities going throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The group has been working across the Island, from delivering more than 600 meals to residents, to fixing memorial benches.

Members have also helped make a new sandpit and bird table for Yarmouth CE Primary School.

Emma Haisell, of Yarmouth Primary, said “We feel incredibly privileged to have had the help and support of Men in Sheds.

"Sand play is such a key resource in Early Years and our beautiful new sandpit will be a welcome resource for our current and future classes.”
