ISLAND Freemasons have made a donation to Mountbatten after they raised money by selling lapel badges.
Freemasons from Ryde Vectis Lodge donated £3,000 after the pins were purchased by members across the Island.
The lapel badges showed the square and compasses symbol of the Freemasons over an outline of the Island.
Mountbatten runs the Island's hospice and other end-of-life care services.
Spokesperson for the Freemasons, David Hilton, said: “Freemasons are passionate about getting involved in charity fundraising that will make the difference for others less fortunate."
