SET ON the Isle of Wight and even featuring the County Press on more than one occasion — TV show The Cockfields is back for more.

A second series of the family comedy series has been commissioned by UKTV channel Gold.

The first series featured a stellar cast including comedian Joe Wilkinson, Diane Morgan, Sue Johnston, Bobby Ball and Nigel Havers.

The show is set on the Island and was filmed in several locations here, as well as in Guildford.

The County Press made the show on more than one occasion, with Bobby Ball reading the paper in one close up, and a rolled-up copy used to chase a bird in another scene.

Filming was originally scheduled for August but this is currently under review.
