AN ISLE of Wight chiropractor is hoping to make it to number one in the iTunes podcast charts for business and entrepreneurship, with a podcast aimed at "lost, broken, depressed and fearful" therapists, and those who want to maximise their business profits.

Nikki Collinson-Phenix has been making the programmes since she was forced to close her own business because of the coronavirus lockdown.

With twenty years experience as a therapist, Nikki has launched The Profitable Couch podcasts, to help people in similar positions around the world navigate the business side of therapy.

The mum of two has already beaten global entrepreneurs such as Gary Vee, Carrie Green, and Jay Shetty to make it to number two in one chart - but she has her eyes (and ears) on the top slot.

Nikki, who is based at the Watchbell House Natural Therapy Centre in Newport, said: "When networking within the industry, so often I come across others who have fabulous passion fuelled therapy businesses, who are not making any money, and this breaks my heart.

"During lockdown I wanted to use my time to help others on their journey, so that when our doors are allowed to open again they can turn their passion into a profitable and viable therapy business.”

The Profitable Couch podcast was launched on Saturday 23 May with a goal of getting it into the iTunes Top 200 charts for Business and Entrepreneurship.

Nikki says she never dreamt it would make top 10, let alone have a shot at number one.
