THE greatest hits from the archives of the Isle of Wight Festival will be shown on television over the weekend the event should have been on.
Hosted by Edith Bowman, who usually presents the live coverage, Sky Arts will feature 30 exclusive performances from the likes of David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Iggy Pop, Faithless, The Prodigy and more.
With this year’s festival unable to take place, Sky Arts will ensure festival spirits are high over June 12 to 14.
A summer without live music wasn’t on the cards, but the Isle of Wight Festival and Sky Arts have come together to allow fans to celebrate some of the festival’s most iconic performances.
Edith, with Will Best, will look back over the event's history to relieve 30-minute sets from some of the event’s most iconic performers.
Tune in to Isle of Wight Festival - Greatest Hits from 7pm to midnight on Friday, June 12, Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14 on Sky Arts.
