Shanklin man charged.
SHANKLIN man Gary Dauncey will appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court this morning (Thursday), charged with assaulting a police officer and offences against NHS staff.
Mr Dauncey, 49, of Osborne Road, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, and public order offences where the alleged victims were NHS staff.
The arrest and charge follows an incident at Stanhope Road, Cowes, on Tuesday evening.
