A COUPLE who met on their first day at university, Ellen Coquio and Thomas Briggs were married at All Saints' Church, Ryde.
The bride, a communications officer, is the daughter of Susan Coquio and David Coquio, of West Street, Ryde.
The bridegroom, an insurance broker, is the son of Noel Briggs, of Norwich, and the late Bridget Briggs.
The bride wore a white lace dress with Bardot neckline and flowers in her hair. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses, lisianthus and Veronica wax flowers, with gypsophila.
She was attended by Ffion Goddard, Harriet Martin, Shobnam Raja and Elea Yaghil, who wore wore salmon pink dresses and carried bouquets of hand-tied pink and white flowers
The best man was Christopher Anderson and the ushers were Daniel Briggs (bridegroom's brother), Josh Davies and Ryan Aldred.
The Rev Canon Howard Barker officiated.
Following a reception at Albert Cottage, East Cowes, the couple, who live in Norwich, honeymooned in St Lucia.
