BUSINESS mentor and accredited speaker Dale Howarth has been appointed as a CPD ambassador.
There are only 12 people who have this honour, from the Continuing Professional Development (CDP) Standards Office, which is part of the Professional Development Consortium.
Dale also recently received the coveted Training Provider Of Excellence status from the same office.
As a CPD ambassador, Dale will work with business and commerce to promote the importance of continuing professional development — something that is also supported through the many seminars and lectures he conducts each year to audiences across the UK, Europe and North America.
In addition, through the Professional Development Consortium, the work of Dale, his fellow Ambassadors and the CPD team contributes to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills and Employment, which is a coalition of UK Parliamentarians from all parties, devoted to raising the profile and status of skills and employment policy in the UK.
Dale received his ambassador status at an event held in Westminster.
CPDSO director Daniel Hole said: "As an accredited CPD speaker and also holding the coveted Training Provider Of Excellence status we are pleased to welcome Dale as a CPD ambassador.
"His work directly with businesses, combined with his many lectures and presentations to business audiences across the UK and worldwide will enable the CPD Standards community to grow and reflect the importance of excellence in lifelong learning."
On March 14, Dale will present his seminar event No marketing budget, so what’s holding you back? at Lakeside Park Hotel.
The event is fully booked, with 165 confirmed delegates, and is sponsored by leading businesses including BCM, Moore Stephens, Premier Ford, NFU Mutual, Santander Corporate. The County Press and LocalIQ are the event's media partner.
Those wishing to attend can still register on the reserved list, then be notified should places become available. To register, visit www.dalehowarth.com.
