THE WIGHT KNIGHT – the Isle of Wight's first real life superhero – has made his television debut, here's how Twitter reacted.
The masked superhero, a former security guard from Newport who wishes to remain incognito, made his TV debut today (Tuesday) on ITV's This Morning Programme with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Twitter speculated to who the hero could be, guessing he could either be Isle of Wight musician Derek Sandy or famed author David Icke who lives in Ryde.
Fun was especially poked at Phillip's facial expressions, the moment Phillip hears the Wight Knight has been called a 'Poundland Power Ranger' is certainly one to watch in the full interview below:

My money is on one of two people being the Wight Knight... pic.twitter.com/MJKgfQKGWP

The million dollar question was repeatedly asked:
Gutted to miss #wightknight on This Morning. I wanna work out who he is 😂

For the last time it's not Alex Watts!
For the 1000th time - the #WightKnight isn't me. He's on TV, in London, I'm on the Isle of Wight. I interviewed him at the weekend, on stage - and people still think this is me... pic.twitter.com/EaFc12pzzZ

Banter.
Wight Knight is one of these Real Life Superheroes, cleaning up the mean streets of (check notes) the Isle of Wight after he failed the Blue Man Group audition*.

Tracy, we are dying to know.
The Wight knight dripped some heavy clues to who he is on This Morning. I think I know who you are 😉 #WightKnight

I'll admit it, I'm a Wight Knighty.
@Schofe @hollywills @thismorning Nice to see our own Superhero #wightknight on the show. My only concern is that his followers are going to be called Wight Knighties #Wightnighties

Conspiracy theories were abundant.
I am prepared to believe that balaclava man from #JeremyKyle is also the Wight Knight on #ThisMorning pic.twitter.com/0Q0xTPhtLz

Bless his plastic shielded heart.
Aww bless him. That is sweet. Good on him for providing a good service to anyone that requires it. He is doing it all with a good heart. Continue with your great service #WightKnight @thismorning interview ended nicely

He's not Uber Eats, mate.
If the Wight Knight brings me a KFC he will really be a superhero #ThisMorning
