A WELSH springer spaniel was named the IW Gundog Club's dog of the year.
The club's match of the year was held at Binstead Community Centre.
All the monthly winners in 2018 from different age groups took part.
The judge was Maureen Rees from Surrey who shows and judges Labrador retrievers and other gundog breeds.
There was a good attendance of 26 gundogs of different breeds.
Best adult and dog of the year was Islanza Spotless Duck, a Welsh springer spaniel, owned by Brenda Rackett.
Reserve went to Indijazz Young Love At Abbeyaire, a German shorthaired pointer, owned by Lynda and David Smith.
Best promising puppy of the year and also puppy of the year was Fleurfield Moonflower With Clamerkin, a pointer, owned by Jan Drake.
Reserve in the promising puppy section was Adormidera Qui Gon Ginn, a Spanish water dog, owned by Kristy Sladewski, while reserve in the puppy section was Riverbrue Imperial Spritz, an Irish setter, owned by Helen and Rob Hunnybun.
Best veteran of the year was Winterwell Miss Tified, a German shorthaired pointer, owned by Linda Cotton.
Reserve was Fleurbay Dream On, a cocker spaniel, owned by Brenda Rackett.
Junior handler of the year was Jessica Cooper, handling a golden retriever.
The January match ran alongside the match of the year.
Best adult went to Barleyarch Florin, a German shorthaired pointer, owned by Linda Cotton.
Reserve best adult was Islanza Black Pearl, a cocker spaniel, owned by Julie Butler.
Best promising puppy was Asterlilly Tofino By Aftonmarsh, a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever, owned by Jan and Ken Andrews.
The winner from the first round was Tonara Annie Oakley, a golden retriever, owned by Ann Gallin.
