CONSERVATIVES on the Isle of Wight have chosen Bob Seely as their candidate to fight the general election.
Cllr Seely was elected as the Central Wight Isle of Wight Councillor in 2013. He is a former soldier, commended for his service in Iraq in 2009, and has worked as an advisor at Conservative Central Office.
Cllr Seely, who lives in Chillerton, was awarded the Military MBE in 2016. He was re-elected as Central Wight member of the Isle of Wight Council during yesterday's local elections.
During his time on the IW Council, his work has included campaigning for further public consultation on devolution plans and against overdevelopment in his ward.
