STOKES (Barbara Lillian) Passed away peacefully in her sleep at 101 years of age, on 21st September at Sandown Nursing Home where she had spent a few weeks following a fall in her home on the Island in which she had spent nearly 40 years, most of that time with her husband Arthur George who had died 14 years earlier. Beloved mother of 5 children, grandmother to 8 grandchildren and great grandmother to 7 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by all after a full, happy family life.
