MASON Gordon Roy (Roy) Passed away peacefully on 13th August aged 96 years at home in Wroxall. A dearly loved Husband to the late Dora Mason. A Funeral Service will be held at St Johns Church, Wroxall followed by Burial in Wroxall Cemetery on Tuesday 26th September at 2pm. Flowers are welcome. So very sad to hear of Roy’s passing.
I have such fond childhood memories of Uncle Roy & Auntie Dora as well as Dora’s mom Vin & brother John .
My mom & dad, Maurice & the late Mary Allen worked with Roy & Dora at Cannings in birmingham in the 1950’s and they remained friends with mom & dad visiting them most years until moms death in 2019, and going on holiday with them to such places as Austria & Cornwall.
We were not aware that Roy had passed and want to send condolences to friends & family.
