THEARLE Alec Frank Our hero Dad, Grandpa, Uncle and Great Uncle, passed peacefully on 30th June 2023 aged 90 years and ten days. He was our rock, our 'go to', described by others as a great man, great friend, witty, cheeky, and loved by those who cared for him at the end. His stories about his time in the Royal Navy and at Parkhurst as a PO were legendary. Now with his beloved wife Linda, reunited at last. He showed us what it meant to be dutiful, caring, hard-working, financially generous, thoughtful, funny, a good sport, and sharp witted right to the very end, keeping positive no matter what. Huge thanks to the compassionate, caring team at the Mountbatten Hospice who made his final days special. Funeral 28th July at 3.45pm, IOW Crematorium. All gifts to Mountbatten Hospice - they are amazing! Forever missed by children Deborah, Scott and Andrew and grandchildren Jacob, Dylan, Martha, Seth and Chloe and extended family.
