Shore Terry SHORE Terry (Terence) Passed away suddenly Tuesday 2 May at St Mary's Hospital aged 78. Dear Dad, You embodied more than the roles of a hard grafting and skilled boatbuilder, a dedicated husband, a loving father, and an adoring grandfather; in my eyes you were a genuine Hero and Humanitarian. Your unwavering presence filled me with so much hope as a child and bestowed upon me a chance at life. Among a sea of orphans, it was me you kindly chose, saving me from a world of poverty. I will never forget the first time we met and the twinkle in your eyes. Your visits were my lifelines Dad, breathing hope and purpose into my existence with each smile and warm embrace I received from you. You were the ultimate peaceful gentleman; I will never forget the very first dress you gifted me in Romania, a delightful purple and white floral canvas, igniting a lifelong shared passion for lavender and its calming grace. Moreover, you modelled to me the meaning of empathy and creativity; and helped nurture my own as we rescued injured birds together, creating a colourful solemn ritual as we tenderly laid them to rest in our meadow sanctuary. Thank you Dad, for all the wonderful years we got to spend together, for showing me a world full of colour and the true meaning of kindness and humanity. Today and alway, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you and assure you that your legacy will forever shine. Your gentle influence and profound selflessness has left a huge hallmark on our hearts, ensuring that your love lives on through our actions, our choices, and unwavering compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves.
