YOUNG David Herbert "Dave" Younger son of Herbert Stanley and May Elizabeth Young. Previously of Hurstake, Newport and Cowes, passed away at home in Newark-on-Trent on Monday 20th February 2023 after a battle with cancer. Dave had worked for HMPrison Service at HMP's Parkhurst and Isle of Wight before his retirement and moving away to Nottinghamshire, though he was proud of his Island roots. The Funeral will be at Sherwood Forest Crematorium, New Ollerton, Notts on Wednesday 22 March 2023. The family request that any donations, in lieu of flowers, be made in Dave's memory to Cancer Research or Macmillan Cancer Support who helped him so much.
