WAGHORN Christopher William In loving memory of (Dad) Christopher William Waghorn sadly passed away on 13th December 2022. The funeral service for Chris will be held at the IW Crematorium on Friday 27th January 2023 at 14.15. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the IOW Hospice. Dear Chris and Nicki, I remember you both with great affection. Chris was great fun and made us laugh. Nicki was our nanny for a while and then she met Chris and they married. I was one of the bridesmaids and I think my younger brother was a page. Very happy childhood memories. My condolences to the family. Sarah (nee Clarke)

Started work for GPO with Chris on the same day. Did our training courses together at Bletchley Park. Got promoted to Technical Officers on same day. We shared many laughs with other employees such as Brian Grace, Ian Backshall and Bernie Cahill. Gave me my first {and only} glider lesson although he tried to repeat it. Will be sadly missed. Together again with Nicki. My condolences to his family

Very sad to hear of Chris's passing - from an old school friend - I will always remember regularly being fed at tea times at his Mothers in Shanklin as a young lad after flying his powered model aircraft. Roy Jeffery deepest Cornwall
