COTTON Richard (Dick) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our Father & Grandfather Richard, Dick to his friends. He passed away in hospital on 31st July 2022 aged 75 after struggling for several years with a breathing condition. His funeral is to be held at the IOW crematorium on 12th September 2022 at 10.30. Although he worked for many years in the Prison Service, his fondest memories and stories were from his time at sea in the Merchant Navy when he was a young man, and also his time spent working for Wightlink on their FastCat service until his retirement. As such we have set up a Memorial on The Mission To Seafarers website in his name for anyone that would wish to make a donation instead of a floral tribute.
