BALDWIN John Ernest 01.04.1947 - 22.04.2022 Died peacefully after a relatively short illness and now in the arms of his Lord. John who was a very committed Christian, worshiped at Christ Church Totland Bay for over 25 years, where he served in various capacities including Church warden and Treasure. John set up a branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association on the Island approximately 35 years ago and was active for several years. John was well known for his willingness to help anyone who required his assistance, particularly if it involved working with wood. He was heavily involved in the Totland Branch of "Men in Sheds". John leaves behind Jenny, his wife of 46 years, His children Kirsty and Phil and six grandchildren Funeral service will take place at Christchurch, Totland. On 26th May at 2pm. Followed by a buffet in the church. Family flowers only. Special thanks go to Totland Men in Sheds, Peter Vessey, Laura Holden Di Goring from Brookside. I will always remember his unwavering faith in God and his willingness to help others in any way he could.
